Questionnaire for canteen

Today we decided we wanted to start our research on functions and how they are carried out, so we went to our college’s kitchen to find out how they go about serving for functions in college. When we arrived at the canteen we found that the current manager Venda, was currently on holiday, and the pastoral manager was currently unavailable. We managed to talk to some of the canteen staff who managed to answer three of our ten questions.
We created these ten questions in order to aid us in our research into functions and how they are recorded and organised. Here are our ten questions

1. What kind of system do you use to make and take orders?

2. How do you go about making arrangements with events in the college?

3. How do you advertise your services?

4. How reliable is your current system?

5. Could you benefit from a computer based system?

6. How do you record the data from the clients using your services?

7. Who are your clients(student union, staff) using your service?

8. Do you save the data from pervious transaction?

9. Do you aim to make a profit or break even?

10. For an event do you provide clients with a big variety of food?

My role in creating these questions was also contrasting on one of my initial roles in the group. As the evaluator in the group, I evaluated the created questions and found that they were suitable for the task we have been set. Chris, as the chairman and finisher oversaw the operation and added the finishing touches to questions. Our shaper, Dean made sense of our questions as we all worked as our set roles as company workers to complete our questions.
We expanded on our questionnaire making skills, by finding relevant questions to ask for what we needed to know. However we found that the questionnaire we created was rather simple so the staff at the kitchen found it hard to fill in. Next time we will improve by making a better and improved questionnaire with open and closed questions.3
